Basic clean cash onlly accomadation at a good price in Singapore
No breakfast offered a budget hotel good for one or two nights in Singapore. a good value and lots of nearby places to eat frequented by locals. Room was good sized by Singapore standards. Very clean good shower hard to find a full size private room in Singapore for 50.00 i think it may be a little more on weekends Also rhere are other hotels on the same street that looked better but not sure. This is called a red light district but if it is everyhing related to it is discreet.
Did not except credit or debit cards pillows and mattress very firm not much English or overly friendly at the desk. I ask the lady at the desk if she could arrange a Grab for trip to airport and she called a regular taxi but the price ended up being OK>

The size of the room
The size of the room Staff were friendly
The bathroom, my bath war really small between the toilette and the washing, there was the shower, ca. 40 cm. This was really poor. The cleaning -- could be much better. But we know, for this money, we can´t expect more.

What was the highlight of JH Hotel
Good value private room, not ‘non-smoker’ friendly.
Friendly staff. Easy check in. Fairly quiet overall. Close to lots of places to eat, centrally located. Good value for a private room in Singapore. Coffee, water kettle and fridge in room.
Smoke, cigarette smoke. This property was listed as ‘smoke free’, however it definitely isn’t. Our first room, the smell was so strong, we had to ask to change to a ‘smoke-free’ room. They happily changed our room to a ‘smoke free room’ which was great, but that room also smelled of smoke, just slightly less. Cleanliness of the sheets, toilets, etc was good, but some more details in the corner (found cigarette ash by the window), soap tray by sink had trash. Note: This property is also located in what is considered Singapore’s “red light district”, although we saw little to no trace of this, this hotel has hourly rates to accommodate this type of business. If this make you uncomfortable, this property is not for you. However for us, we loved the atmosphere and food of the area.
